Ph.D. STUDENT POSITIONS

The Chair of International Finance (CFI) at the College of Management of Technology (CDM) of EPFL invites applications for Ph.D. student positions.

The CDM is a center of excellence for research and education in economics, finance and management. Research at CFI focuses on the development of general equilibrium models for the analysis of monetary and fiscal polices, exchange rate and current account behavior and financial asset pricing. The emphasis is on rigorous modeling and numerical evaluation.

CFI will consider applications from people with a background in economics or finance. A Bachelor degree in economics is essential. A specialization in the following fields is an advantage

• International economics
• Macroeconomics
• Econometrics

Applicants must be fluent in English (written and spoken).
